Clinical Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform preventive maintenance as per NH Hospital Check list
· Conduct end user training on non critical biomedical and laboratory equipment
· Perform rounds as per schedule to check the functionalities of various medical devices in the assigned area
· Ensure proper documentation related to Preventive maintenance, Calibration, User training & Vendor services are duly completed and maintained
· Ensure that the asset data integrity and correctness is maintained for the assigned medical devices
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
· Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering /Medical Electronics or related field is preferred
· Education in a Technical/electronics field is required (Diploma / ITI) With at least of 2 years of relevant experience.
· Equipment Complexity serviced on a regular basis: Non-complex
· Operational and Functional Knowledge of non critical Biomedical equipment and Common
Laboratory equipment
· Knowledge of electrical safety testing and use of test equipment
· Knowledge of medical test equipment and perform calibration of non critical Biomedical equipment and Common Laboratory equipment
· Skills and knowledge to carry out front line troubleshooting of biomedical and Laboratory equipment
· Isolate the problems related to accessories and consumables of biomedical and Laboratory equipment
· Knowledge of Microsoft office , Web Tools and email.
· Interact with the end users and concerned persons and update the status of work in progress.
· Maintain good working relationship with Vendors to ensure timely installations, user and technical training, warranty /post warranty services.
· Adhere to NH Sourcing and finance policies such as Parts receipt, GRN, Timely submission of Invoice and Timely update of CMMS (RSQ)
· Adhere to NH Quality Policies, Procedures and Documentation
· Adhere to HR Policies and procedures
