Business Growth Lead
Role: Business Growth Lead - Short Stay Surgical Centers

Role Summary:
The Business Growth Lead will be responsible for scouting high-potential micro-markets, identifying suitable real estate or facility partners, negotiating commercial terms, and overseeing end-to-end commissioning of new short-stay surgical centers. The incumbent will operate as a field-based business development and execution lead, ensuring rapid, compliant, and cost-effective expansion aligned with strategic priorities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8–12 years of experience in business development, real estate scouting, or healthcare expansion
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills; familiarity with healthcare facility norms preferred
- Ability to work independently in field settings with high accountability
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned geography
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Scouting & Facility Identification
- Conduct research to identify high-demand catchment areas for day care services
- Evaluate potential sites based on accessibility, proximity to hospitals/clinics, and demographic fit
- Build and maintain a pipeline of viable properties or partner facilities
2. Commercial Negotiation & Contracting
- Lead price negotiations, lease/licensing discussions, and commercial due diligence
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts, MoUs, and SLAs
- Ensure alignment with NH’s compliance, confidentiality, and operational standards
3. Commissioning & Operational Handover
- Coordinate with internal teams (projects, IT, clinical ops) to commission facilities
- Track readiness milestones: infrastructure setup, utilities, branding, and staffing
- Own the go-live timeline and ensure smooth handover to operations team
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with landlords, local authorities, vendors, and community influencers
- Represent Narayana Health’s brand and values in all external interactions
- Work closely with regional leadership
Success Metrics:
- Number of facilities scouted, shortlisted, and contracted
- Time-to-commission and adherence to budget
- Quality of facility fit (location, compliance, scalability)
- Stakeholder satisfaction and operational readiness
