Deputy Manager-Architect
Role Overview
The Deputy Manager – Architecture will drive the design and execution of hospital infrastructure projects. The role focuses on delivering functional, patient-centric environments while ensuring full compliance with healthcare standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities

Design & Standardization (40%): Assist in developing standardized layouts for critical areas like OTs, ICUs, and OPDs for hospitals ranging from 200 to 1,000 beds.

MEPF & Interdisciplinary Coordination (30%): Collaborate with MEPF and structural teams to ensure seamless service integration with architectural layouts.

Regulatory Compliance & Approvals (15%): Prepare drawings and documentation for statutory approvals (fire safety, municipal, environmental) and coordinate with government bodies.

Project Execution & Process Efficiency (15%): Support the timely preparation of tender and construction drawings while aligning designs with evolving medical technologies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Experience: 7 – 10 years of proven experience in hospital or healthcare facility design.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Healthcare Infrastructure Planning.

Functional Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office. Strong knowledge of healthcare planning guidelines (JCI, NABH, NABL) and building codes.

Behavioural Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to work with minimal supervision, and a willingness to travel for site visits.
