Deputy Manager-ESG
Key Responsibilities
- Environmental Monitoring: Track water, waste, air, and noise metrics; conduct periodic (monthly/quarterly) reviews and flag deviations.
- GHG Emissions: Support implementation of the Carbon Neutrality roadmap; benchmark and track Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
- ESG Target Performance: Monitor short- and long-term ESG goals; prepare reports for internal stakeholders and investor presentations.
- Reporting (BRSR & ESG): Assist in preparing SEBI-compliant BRSR reports and voluntary ESG reports with case studies and best practices.
- Third-Party Audits: Participate in ESG assurance and safety audits (electrical, waste, water, fire); track gaps and improvement plans.
- Compliance & Policies: Monitor compliance with environmental, fire safety, and regulatory standards under NGRBC and BRSR.
- Supplier Disclosures: Coordinate ESG data collection from value chain partners as per SEBI BRSR core assurance guidelines.
- Digital Tools: Support implementation and monitoring of ESG software tools for data capture and reporting.
- Coordination & Development: Attend ESG trainings, adhere to appraisal processes, and collaborate with ESG and unit teams for assignments.
Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Sustainability.
Relevant experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in ESG, EHS, or sustainability roles
Experience in hospital, healthcare, or multi-unit service sectors is a plus
Threshold skills and capabilities:
Functional:
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and sustainability standards (BRSR, GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD)
- Basic understanding of environmental laws and compliance (air, water, waste, noise)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools
- Ability to interpret ESG data and summarize for management reporting
