Deputy Manager
Job Summary
The Deputy Manager – Architecture leads the design and execution of hospital projects. This role ensures all infrastructure is patient-centric, efficient, and fully compliant with healthcare standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Standardization

Develop standardized layouts for critical areas like OTs, ICUs, and OPDs.

Optimize space planning for hospitals ranging from 200 to 1000 beds.

Ensure all designs meet JCI, NABH, and NABL accreditation standards.
2. MEPF & Coordination
-
Collaborate with MEPF and structural teams to integrate services into architectural layouts.

Work with external consultants to review and finalize drawings for site execution.

Support sustainable and energy-efficient building practices.
3. Compliance & Approvals

Prepare necessary documentation for municipal, fire safety, and environmental approvals.

Ensure designs follow the National Building Code (NBC) and local healthcare regulations.

Coordinate with government bodies to streamline the approval process.
4. Project Execution

Manage the timely preparation of tender and construction drawings.

Improve workflow efficiency in project execution.

Align designs with new medical technologies and operational requirements.
Key Interactions

Internal: Engineering, Biomedical, Facility, and Hospital Operations teams.

External: Government authorities, regulatory agencies, and design consultants.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture.

Experience: 5–8 years in hospital or healthcare facility design.
Skills & Capabilities

Functional: Expert in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and MS Office. Deep knowledge of healthcare planning and building codes.

Behavioral: Strong problem-solving skills, leadership ability, and willingness to travel for site visits.

Languages: Proficiency in English and Hindi.
