1. Job Purpose

The Senior Executive – Architecture supports the design and execution of hospital infrastructure projects. The role focuses on preparing architectural drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to efficient, safe, and patient-centric hospital environments.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Design Development & Documentation – 40%

  • Prepare concept, schematic, and construction drawings for hospital projects.

  • Develop detailed and coordinated architectural layouts in consultation with the Manager – Architecture.

  • Ensure compliance with NBC 2016, local building regulations, and healthcare design standards.

2. Coordination & Collaboration – 30%

  • Work closely with MEPF, structural consultants, and design teams for integrated project delivery.

  • Support multidisciplinary coordination to ensure design feasibility and alignment.

  • Collaborate with internal teams for layout optimization and design discussions.

3. Project Execution & Compliance – 30%

  • Assist in preparing statutory drawings and documentation for government approvals.

  • Participate in site visits to monitor architectural execution and adherence to design intent.

  • Support standardization efforts, BOQ alignment, and compliance with project specifications.

3. Key Interactions

Internal:

Engineering, biomedical, facility teams, project management, and hospital operations.

External:

Government authorities, planning bodies, regulatory agencies, architects, and design consultants.

4. Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Healthcare Infrastructure Planning.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in healthcare or hospital design.

Functional Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office.

  • Knowledge of building codes, healthcare planning guidelines, and material specifications.

Behavioural Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

  • Willingness to travel for site reviews and project needs.

Language:

  • Proficiency in English.
