The Role: Transformational Leader

The Head of Finance Shared Services is a transformational leadership role responsible for redefining and centralizing the entire finance function (currently 400+ members in billing and accounting). The objective is to identify inefficiencies, implement massive centralization and automation, and create an efficient, future-ready, and digital FSS organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Transformation

  • Develop the strategic roadmap for the FSS, aligning it with NH’s overall corporate strategy.

  • Conduct a ground-up assessment of current finance processes to identify opportunities for centralization, digitization, and automation.

  • Break down the transformation into meaningful sub-projects and lead execution across multi-functional teams (Finance, IT, Supply Chain, HR).

  • Establish tangible measures and KPIs to track the effectiveness and benefits realized from the transformation.

2. Financial Operations, Control & Compliance

  • Oversee and continuously improve core financial processes: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger.

  • Implement robust internal controls, quality checks, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions.

  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and reporting requirements.

3. Technology & Innovation

  • Drive the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to streamline operations.

  • Lead the adoption of automation tools and digital solutions to reduce manual effort and improve data integrity.

  • Utilize advanced analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to provide actionable strategic insights.


Candidate Profile

Category Requirement
Experience Minimum 20–22 years in Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing Finance Shared Services, preferably within the Healthcare or Pharma industry.
Education Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance (or equivalent qualification) is preferred.
Functional Expertise Deep understanding of financial operations, including hospital billing, revenue cycle management, and healthcare regulations.
Technical Proficiency Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion), automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
Behavioral Skills Strong leadership skills with proven ability to inspire and manage large teams, coupled with analytical and problem-solving capabilities focused on driving operational efficiency.
