  1. Writes daily progress notes 

  1. Obtain and document informed consent 

  1. Perform preoperative work up 

  1. Order appropriate referrals* 

  1. Order appropriate investigations* 

  1. Interpret hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients* 

  1. Interpret laboratory & radiology results 

  1. Orders transfusions of blood and blood products* 

  1. Order appropriate medication and other orders 

  1. Prepare an appropriate discharge summary 

  1. Perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation 

  1. Orders, adjusts artificial feeding modalities 

  1. Participation in teaching and academic activities both intradepartment & interdepartment 

 

 

  1. Inserts central venous catheter* 

  1. Performs oral endotracheal intubation, tracheotomy* 

  1. Performs nasogastric intubation* 

  1. Inserts urethral catheter 

  1. Assist Head & Neck & reconstructive procedures* 

  1. Perform surgical procedure under assistance from consultant. 

  1. Head & Neck Surgical cover to ICU, SICU, ward patients. 

  1. Perform/Assist re – exploration 

  1. Perform minor OPD procedures*
