Job Responsibilities: |
A) Medication Management - Assess identity, strength, and purity of medications - Review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability - Provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage
B) Inventory and Supply Chain - Order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, and drugs - Maintain stock levels and ensure proper storage and handling - Maintain inventory and Reorder Level (ROL) - Place orders for medicine/consumables based on consumption trends
C) Regulatory Compliance and Record-Keeping - Maintain records, including pharmacy files, charge system files, inventories, and control records - Monitor and maintain registries of narcotics and controlled drugs .
D) Collaboration and Customer Service - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, and evaluate drug regimens - Advise customers on medication brands, medical equipment, and healthcare supplies - Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors
E) Quality Control and Monitoring - Maintain and monitor vital stock and high-value drugs/consumables |
Candidate Requirements: |
- Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the Doctors and the other related departmental personnel.
- Ability to plan & organize one’s work schedule effectively.
- Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel.
