  1. Perform and document history & physical examination 

  1. Formulate differential diagnosis 

  1. Develops and documents initial plan of care* 

  1. Modifies daily plan of care* 

  1. Writes daily progress notes 

  1. Perform preoperative work up 

  1. Order appropriate referrals* 

  1. Order appropriate investigations* 

  1. Interpret hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients* 

  1. Interpret laboratory & radiology results* 

  1. Orders transfusions of blood and blood products* 

  1. Order appropriate medication and other orders* 

  1. Prepare an appropriate discharge summary 

 

  1. Assist/Coordinate cardio-pulmonary resuscitation 

  1. Interpret non-invasive cardiac  function testing* 

  1. Participation in teaching and academic activities both intradepartment & interdepartment 

 

 

  1. Assist Neuro Surgeons in the operations. 

  1. Proficient in the procedures required for a Neuro surgical trainees. 

  1. Perform minor operations related to Neurological surgery under the supervision of a Consultant. 

  1. Surgical cover to ICU.
