Role Objective

As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of our search engine optimization strategy. Your goal is to improve organic rankings, drive high-quality traffic to our healthcare categories, and ensure our technical foundation is optimized for search engine performance.


Key Responsibilities

1. Technical SEO Execution

  • Audits: Perform regular technical SEO audits to ensure site crawlability and indexation.

  • Site Health: Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability.

  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve crawl errors, 404s, redirect loops, and duplicate content issues.

2. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Tracking: Use Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to monitor keyword rankings and traffic.

  • Competitor Analysis: Track competitor moves to identify new keyword gaps and growth opportunities.

  • Reporting: Prepare clear, data-driven reports highlighting SEO performance and areas for improvement.

3. On-Page & Schema Optimization

  • Content Support: Work with the content team to optimize metadata, headers, and internal linking structures.

  • Rich Snippets: Implement and manage Schema Markup (MedicalEntity, FAQs, etc.) to enhance search visibility.

  • Web Collaboration: Partner with the IT/Dev team to ensure SEO best practices are met during site updates or feature releases.

4. Guidelines & Trends

  • Compliance: Ensure all website changes align with Google Search Essentials (Webmaster Guidelines).

  • Adaptation: Stay updated on algorithm changes and adjust tactics to protect and grow our rankings.


Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on SEO experience.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of SEMrush, Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, and Screaming Frog.

  • Skills: Strong understanding of technical SEO (HTML, CSS, site architecture) and on-page optimization.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to turn data into actionable SEO tasks.

  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication for collaborating with marketing and IT teams.
