Job Responsibilities: 

 

  • Diagnosis including frozen sections. 

  • Grossing when registrar is on leave. 

  • Supervision of technical aspects. 

  • To diagnose efficiently a broad range of complex surgical pathology cases including frozen sections and handle a brisk workload. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with desire to forge strong professional relationships with medical staff, laboratory staff, and hospital administration. 

  • Participate and collaborate with other departments in a complex, multi-functional and specialty environment such as tumor boards etc. 

  • Desire to make positive contributions to an active, diverse pathology practice. 

Administration 

 

  • Responsible for overall operations and administrations of Histopathology Lab. 

  • Ensure quality laboratory service 

  • Ensure to provide quality of result required 

  • Ensure quality control & quality assurance. 

  • Ensure establish & maintain acceptable analytic performance. 

  • Ensure remedial actions taken & documented. 

  • Ensure the report of the test results include pertinent information for the interpretation.
