The Senior Manager - Architect will lead the planning, design, and execution of hospital expansion projects, ensuring architectural excellence, MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire) coordination, and regulatory compliance. This role will focus on standardization, process improvement, and optimizing 

 

Key Responsibility Statement

 

•              Standardization & Design Efficiency

o              Development and implementation of standardized layouts for hospital spaces (OTs, ICUs, OPDs, etc.).

o              Completion of space programs for different hospital capacities (200-1000 beds).

o              Adherence to JCI, NABH, NABL and internal healthcare design standards.

 

•              MEPF Coordination & Interdisciplinary Integration

o              Seamless integration of MEPF with architectural designs.

o              Efficiency of the consultancy/interdisciplinary matrix execution.

o              Adoption of energy-efficient & sustainable building practices.

 

•              Regulatory Compliance & Approvals

o              Timely submission and acquisition of statutory approvals (municipal, environmental, fire safety, etc.).

o              Compliance with local building laws and healthcare infrastructure regulations.

o              Effective liaison with government authorities for smooth approval processes.

 

 

•              Process Improvement & Execution Efficiency

o              Reduction in turnaround time for tender and execution drawings.

o              Implementation of workflow standardization for enhanced project efficiency.

o              Alignment of architectural outputs with operational needs and evolving medical technologies.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

12 - 15 years in hospital design, healthcare infrastructure, or large-scale architectural projects.

Bachelor's/Master’s in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Healthcare Infrastructure Planning.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office.

Understanding of building codes, healthcare planning guidelines, and material specifications.

Behavioural:

Ability to take direction, execute tasks independently, and work within a team.

Willingness to travel for site visits and project execution.
