Job Purpose and Scope

To lead and expand Narayana Health’s international patient services and medical value travel business with a strong focus on Africa. The role involves developing partnerships, driving patient acquisition, and ensuring seamless end-to-end patient experiences while building the hospital’s brand internationally.

 

 

Key Responsibility Statement 

1. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Africa and other focus geographies.
  • Build and sustain relationships with hospitals, medical institutions, government bodies, facilitators, embassies, and referral networks.
  • Develop corporate tie-ups and strategic collaborations to increase patient inflow and strengthen Narayana Health’s global footprint.

2. International Patient Acquisition & Services

  • Drive patient acquisition through effective engagement with local partners and referral channels.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of the patient journey—including visa support, travel assistance, treatment planning, and discharge follow-up.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver superior patient experience across all touchpoints.

3. Market Development & Brand Promotion

  • Promote Narayana Health as a leading medical value travel destination in African and other international markets.
  • Plan and execute roadshows, digital campaigns, outreach programs, and patient education initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide insights for business strategy and differentiation

4. Reporting, Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare regular reports on business performance, patient inflow, and market development.
  • Train internal teams on international patient care protocols and cultural sensitivity.
  • Capture patient feedback, analyze improvement opportunities, and drive corrective measures.

 

Educational qualifications/Certification 

 

Graduate in any disciplie

MBA/PG in Marketing, Healthcare, or International Business preferred.

 

Relevant experience 

6 - 9 years of experience in international business development, medical tourism, or healthcare services, with strong exposure to African markets
