1. Cognitive Clinical Management

- Perform and document history & physical examination
- Formulate differential diagnosis
- Develop and document initial plan of care
- Write daily progress notes
- Interpret laboratory and radiology results
- Prepare an appropriate discharge summary
- Supervise maintenance of clinical records
- Prepare manuscripts for presentation
2. Clinical Non-Invasive Management
(Patient care activities without breaking skin or entering body cavities)
- Order appropriate investigations (e.g., blood tests, imaging, ECG)
- Order appropriate referrals (e.g., specialist consultations)
- Order appropriate medications and other treatment plans
- Monitor patient response and modify treatment plans accordingly
3. Clinical Invasive Management
(Procedures involving penetration of the body)
- Obtain and document informed consent (mandatory before invasive procedures)
- Perform or assist in invasive procedures (e.g., IV line insertion, catheterization, biopsies, surgeries—depending on role/privileges)
