Scope: National / Regional Expansion (Greenfield & Brownfield)
Executive Summary
The VP of Infrastructure & Projects will serve as the strategic architect of the organization’s physical growth. This role is responsible for the vision, capital allocation, and execution of multi-crore healthcare projects. The successful candidate will blend high-level engineering oversight with corporate strategy to deliver world-class clinical facilities that align with the organization’s long-term business goals.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Growth & Portfolio Management

Expansion Roadmap: Define and execute the long-term infrastructure strategy for the hospital network.

Capital Allocation: Oversee the total CAPEX budget, ensuring optimal ROI and cost-efficiencies across all project phases.

Feasibility & Investment: Lead the evaluation of new sites (Greenfield) and acquisitions (Brownfield) from a structural and financial viability standpoint.
2. Governance & Operational Excellence

Executive Oversight: Drive the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring "Zero Deviation" in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary representative with government bodies and healthcare councils for high-level approvals and permits.

Risk Mitigation: Anticipate macro-level risks (market, supply chain, regulatory) and develop institutional-level contingency plans.
3. Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Board-Level Reporting: Present project milestones, financial variances, and strategic updates to the Board and Executive Leadership.

Organizational Capability: Build and mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary department (Design, MEP, SCM, and Site Engineering).

Strategic Partnerships: Lead the selection and management of Tier-1 international consultants, architects, and contractors.
4. Design Innovation & Clinical Integration

Future-Proofing: Champion the integration of "Smart Hospital" technologies (HIS, EMR, IoT) into the core facility design.

JCI/NABH Standards: Ensure all infrastructure meets the highest global clinical accreditation standards.
Executive Profile

Experience: 18–25+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within the Healthcare/Hospital sector.

Project Portfolio: Proven track record of delivering multiple multi-specialty hospitals (200–500+ beds) from concept to commissioning.

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering; MBA or Master’s in Project Management is highly preferred.

Strategic Mindset: Deep understanding of the economic drivers of a healthcare enterprise and the ability to balance clinical needs with financial discipline.
