Job Purpose:

 

 

Responsible for day to day functioning of the department.

To develop and improve on procurement and supply chain management policies that are cost effective and efficient for the hospital.

To Source and manage a pool of vendors to ensure best quality at the lowest cost

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Adhere to CBU (Central buying unit) products and rate.
  • Take leadership role in negotiation of items other than CBU items as per SOP.
  • Do vendor evaluation to ensure smooth supply.
  • Interact with consultants to understand new requirements and procure as per SOP.
  • Maintain new samples collected from approved or new vendor
  • Maintain record of approval and feedback form for different materials.
  • Prepare Management Information System on daily basis to build up robust control.
  • Monitor KRAs / KPIs of corporate SCM department and same to be reported to Corporate team.
  • Maintain documentation of all purchase comparatives.
  • Entering rates of different products in HIS.
 
 

Candidate Requirements

 

Education: MHA / MBA / B Pharma / D Pharma

 

Experience: Preferably over 5 years.

 

Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of in ERP and HIS, Good communication & interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, multi task and lead a team. Ability to train and educate associates on department specific aspects if required. Be proactive, punctual and empathetic.
