Job Purpose:

To handle inventory management, Inventory Variation & ROL planning.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Materials Planning, procurement and inventory management for Drugs, Medical Consumable, General Consumable, printing and Stationary, Capex medical equipment & instruments, Housekeeping, linen, office and computer

 

  • Execute analysis of procedure wise consumption & cost analysis; work to implement standard BOM Prepare financial impact analysis for various business changes/proposal/initiatives.

 

  • Prepare and submit Management Information Reports.

 

  • Monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of inventory management operations.

 

  • Oversee Cost Reduction through Engineering/Analysis.

 

  • Standardization, Variety Reduction, and Value

 

  • Take leadership role in negotiation process for local purchase process and develop local vendors/ suppliers to optimize cost.

 

  • Coordinate with consultants/nursing staffs to ensure timely supply of medicines / Consumables to patients.

 

  • Implementing new protocols & SOPs as and when needed and as and when designed by Corporate SCM team.

 

  • Maintaining a lean stock with no stock outs, managing the near expiry, non-moving and supplier returns

 

  • Oversee Proper Storage and Preservation of Materials.

 

  • Adhere to KRAS / KPIs of corporate SCM team and report on monthly basis.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Verbal Ability/Communication Skill: Ability to comprehend verbal instructions given by the supervisor or head of the department.
  • To give accurate and tactful explanations to patients. Problem solving/ Decision-making
  • To think independently and exercise own judgment.
  • Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the Doctors and the other related departmental personnel.
  • Ability to plan & organize ones work schedule effectively.
  • Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel.
