Key responsibilities

• To assist the consultants in carrying out the invasive procedures.
• Explain the position details and other pre-requisites to the patient before carrying out the procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining nd checking of equipment and accessories to be used.
• Upkeep of all technical equipment including imaging equipment.
• Coordinate with doctors, Incharge and nurse finalizing the list of patients undergoing Cath Lab procedures.
• Responsible for arranging the item for department from stores.
• Responsible for maintaining of quality of films/CD/Video.
• Responsible for maintaining the IBAP active Balloon Pump and helps in its use during planned procedures and emergency.
• To ascertain that every patient has given appropriate consent for th procedures prior to taking the patient on table.
• Maintaining the Data pertaining to Cath Lab procedures.
• Being able to facilitate between the patients and consultants so that the procedure is carried out effectively. All the things such as equipment, records, etc. are taken care of.
• All other work assigned by management / HOD.
