Job Purpose:

Demonstrates knowledge and skill in caring for the patient with the understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity. Provides nursing care, utilizing the nursing process, for all day care patients.

Job Responsibilities:

To assist the Ward Staff Nurse in care of patient which includes sponge bath, mouth care, back care, combing, feeding, dressing, giving water to the patient and help the ambulatory patient.
Shifting of patient from one ward to another ward.
Handling of wheelchairs and stretchers
Dispatching the samples and collection of reports
Collection and returning of medicine from and to stores
Taking of patients to X-ray, MRI, CT.
Collection and dispatching of all dressing sets in CSSD.
Cleaning and Filling of all water jugs in the ward.
Leaving of the patient near the gate of hospital after discharge.
In case of Emergency they are suppose to help housekeeping on the requirement.

Willingness and initiative in acquiring knowledge, updating skills and technology or professional competency
Able to work under pressure and stressful situations while handling multiple tasks.
