Visiting Consultant
Provide expert image-guided minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for vascular and non-vascular conditions
· Perform interventional procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, and endovascular interventions
· Conduct image-guided biopsies, drainages, catheter placements, chemoports, and dialysis access procedures
· Manage interventional oncology procedures including TACE, ablation, and tumor embolization
· Perform hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal interventions including biliary drainage and stenting
· Support emergency and trauma interventions including acute bleed embolization and urgent vascular procedures
· Interpret CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy relevant to interventional planning and execution
· Evaluate patients pre-procedure, obtain informed consent, and ensure appropriate case selection
· Provide post-procedure care, follow-up, and management of complications
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncology, nephrology, gastroenterology, hepatology, vascular surgery, and critical care
· Participate in tumor boards, case discussions, and multidisciplinary clinical meetings
· Ensure adherence to NABH/JCI protocols, patient safety standards, and infection control guidelines
· Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all procedures and clinical outcomes
· Contribute to the development and expansion of interventional radiology services within the hospital
· Be available on a visiting/on-call basis for scheduled and emergency procedures
· Train and mentor junior doctors, residents, and technical staff when required
· Conduct academic activities such as CMEs, case presentations, and workshops
· Comply with ethical practices, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies
