  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients’ medical histories.

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.

  • Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood work, X-rays, and other imaging.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.

  • Provide emergency medical care and participate in critical care management.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.

  • Counsel patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and lifestyle modifications.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and clinical audits.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and legal regulations.

  • Engage in continuous medical education to stay updated on the latest medical advancements.

  • May be involved in training and supervising junior medical staff or interns.
