Physiotherapist
- To provide treatments to patients by use of handling, manual physiotherapy techniques, exercise therapy and electrotherapy.
- To participate in the evening, Night and holiday Service, which includes advanced respiratory techniques, sick patient management etc.
- To be responsible for the patients care of the allocated patients in the allocated area (ward/ ITU) under the supervision of the unit In - Charge.
- To assess the pre-operative patients and provide the physiotherapy education including breathing exercises, Incentive spirometry etc
- To assess the patients in the ITU and provide appropriate Physiotherapy services including early mobilization etc
- To assess the patient in the post operative ward and provide Physiotherapy Services including group exercise therapy with music therapy etc.
- To prepare the patient for discharge under the supervision of senior and unit In - Charge
- Reporting the activities including patient care and the progress to the unit In - Charge and the HOD
- To be responsible to update all concerned records in the particular unit.
