Medical Equipment Management

Install, test, maintain, and repair medical equipment such as patient monitors, ventilators, imaging systems, infusion pumps, and laboratory devices

Perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide timely technical solutions
Patient Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO, IEC, or local health authorities)

Conduct safety checks and risk assessments on medical devices

Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
Clinical & Staff Support

Train doctors, nurses, and technicians on the proper use and care of medical equipment

Provide on-call technical support during emergencies or critical procedures

Collaborate with clinical staff to evaluate equipment performance and usability
Equipment Planning & Procurement

Assist in the selection, evaluation, and procurement of new medical equipment
-
Coordinate with vendors for installation, upgrades, warranties, and service contracts
-
Participate in technology assessment and equipment lifecycle management
