Medical Equipment Management

  • Install, test, maintain, and repair medical equipment such as patient monitors, ventilators, imaging systems, infusion pumps, and laboratory devices

  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide timely technical solutions

Patient Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO, IEC, or local health authorities)

  • Conduct safety checks and risk assessments on medical devices

  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities

Clinical & Staff Support

  • Train doctors, nurses, and technicians on the proper use and care of medical equipment

  • Provide on-call technical support during emergencies or critical procedures

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to evaluate equipment performance and usability

Equipment Planning & Procurement

  • Assist in the selection, evaluation, and procurement of new medical equipment

  • Coordinate with vendors for installation, upgrades, warranties, and service contracts

  • Participate in technology assessment and equipment lifecycle management
