Maintenance Operations
- Oversee daily maintenance activities for hospital infrastructure and utilities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of:
- Electrical systems
- DG sets and UPS
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing and water supply
- STP/WTP systems
- Fire fighting systems
- Elevators and medical gas pipeline systems
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Equipment & Facility Management
- Monitor facility equipment performance and downtime.
- Ensure quick resolution of maintenance complaints and breakdowns.
- Maintain records of equipment servicing and repairs.
- Coordinate with biomedical and engineering teams for utility support.
Vendor & AMC Management
- Supervise external contractors and service vendors.
- Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and service agreements.
- Verify maintenance work quality and compliance with standards.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to hospital safety norms, NABH/JCI standards, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections and audits.
- Ensure compliance with electrical, fire, and environmental regulations.
Team Management
- Supervise technicians, electricians, plumbers, HVAC operators, and maintenance staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and allocate tasks.
- Train staff on safety procedures and maintenance practices.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance logs, inventory records, and service reports.
- Prepare monthly maintenance reports and utility consumption analysis.
- Assist in budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
