Dietician
Clinical Responsibilities

Assess patients’ nutritional status through medical history, dietary intake, anthropometric data, and lab reports

Develop individualized diet plans based on medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, renal disease, cardiac conditions, cancer, GI disorders)

Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress and modify diet plans as required

Provide nutrition counseling to patients and caregivers

Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team discussions

Document nutrition care plans and patient progress in medical records
Food Service & Quality Control

Plan and supervise therapeutic diets prepared by the hospital kitchen

Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are followed
-
Monitor meal distribution to ensure accuracy of prescribed diets
-
Conduct regular kitchen inspections and audits
