Junior Consultant

Perform daily clinical rounds and monitor patients in the ICU.

Assist in the diagnosis and management of critically ill patients including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency interventions.

Supervise and support the medical officers, residents, and nursing staff in implementing treatment protocols.

Evaluate patients' progress and update treatment plans in consultation with the Senior Consultant.

Ensure accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Participate in emergency code situations (Code Blue, etc.) and actively manage resuscitation efforts.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including nephrology, neurology, cardiology, and surgery for comprehensive care.

Educate and counsel patients’ families regarding the patient's condition, prognosis, and care plan.

Maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with ICU protocols.

Participate in clinical audits, morbidity & mortality meetings, and academic activities.

Stay updated with advancements in critical care and participate in ongoing medical education and training.
