Junior Consultant

Clinical Care:
- Provide direct clinical care to critically ill patients in the ICU, HDU, or emergency settings.
- Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, etc., under supervision or independently depending on experience.
- Participate in daily ward rounds with the senior consultants.
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients on mechanical ventilation and other life support systems.
Patient Monitoring and Documentation:
- Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and imaging; respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records and patient charts.
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
Emergency Response:
- Respond to Code Blue and other medical emergencies within the hospital.
- Assist in the stabilization and transfer of critically ill patients.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with consultants, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other ICU staff.
- Communicate with patients' families regarding condition updates under the guidance of senior consultants.
