Patient Care
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide medical advice, counseling, and health education to patients and families.
- Refer patients to specialists when required.
Clinical Duties
- Conduct routine ward rounds and document patient notes accurately.
- Assist in emergency management, surgeries, and other procedures as required.
- Ensure proper documentation of clinical findings, investigations, and outcomes.
- Supervise nursing and paramedical staff in the delivery of patient care.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, morbidity/mortality meetings, and quality improvement programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Support health promotion and preventive health initiatives.
Education & Training
- Participate in continuous medical education (CME) and training programs.
- Mentor junior doctors, interns, and medical students.
Compliance & Ethics
- Adhere to medical ethics, confidentiality, and patient rights.
- Comply with infection control, safety, and legal regulations.
