2. Inpatient & Outpatient Management

Monitor patient progress in wards.

Conduct daily rounds and update treatment plans as needed.

Manage OPD (Outpatient Department) services efficiently.

Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary.
3. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records.

Prepare discharge summaries and clinical notes.

Ensure compliance with hospital documentation standards and legal requirements.
4. Coordination & Communication

Collaborate with nurses, specialists, technicians, and other healthcare staff.

Participate in case discussions, morbidity/mortality meetings, and interdisciplinary rounds.

Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
5. Administrative Responsibilities
-
Assist in implementing hospital policies related to patient care, safety, and infection control.

Support the hospital in quality assurance and accreditation activities.
-
Participate in duty rosters, including night shifts and on-call duties.
6. Continuous Learning & Development
-
Stay updated with clinical guidelines and medical best practices.

Attend CME sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.
