Medical Officer
Clinical Duties
-
Examine patients, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations

Diagnose illnesses and provide appropriate treatment and follow-up care
-
Prescribe medications and interpret diagnostic investigations
-
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required
-
Provide care in OPD, IPD, and emergency services as assigned
Emergency & Critical Care
-
Attend medical emergencies and provide immediate care
-
Stabilize patients and coordinate referrals when necessary
-
Perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ACLS) as applicable
Patient Care & Communication
-
Explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedures to patients and families
-
Obtain informed consent for procedures
-
Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical medical practice
Coordination & Referrals
-
Refer patients to consultants/specialists when indicated
-
Coordinate with nursing staff, technicians, and other departments
-
Participate in ward rounds with senior consultants
