Medical Officer

Clinical Duties

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.

• Conduct regular ward rounds and monitor patient progress.

• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.

• Perform minor medical procedures as required.

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.

Patient Care & Safety

• Ensure accurate documentation of patient medical records.

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical medical practice.

• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.

Coordination & Teamwork

• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals for comprehensive patient care.

• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.

• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
