Medical Officer
1. Patient Care & Clinical Duties

Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in OPD, IPD, and emergency units

Order and interpret diagnostic tests (lab tests, X-rays, ECG, etc.)

Prescribe medications and therapies
-
Perform minor medical procedures
-
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
-
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
2. Emergency & Critical Care
-
Respond promptly to medical emergencies
-
Stabilize critically ill patients
-
Provide life-saving interventions (CPR, intubation, etc.)
-
Coordinate with specialists and ICU teams
3. Documentation & Reporting
-
Maintain accurate patient medical records
-
Prepare discharge summaries and medical certificates
-
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and legal standards
-
Participate in clinical audits and quality assurance programs
4. Coordination & Teamwork
-
Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and allied health staff
-
Refer patients to specialists when required
-
Participate in ward rounds and case discussions
-
Supervise junior doctors or interns (if applicable)
