Patient Care and Diagnosis

  • Examine patients and take detailed medical histories.

  • Perform physical examinations.

  • Diagnose diseases and medical conditions.

  • Prescribe medications and treatments.

  • Order and interpret lab tests, X-rays, and other investigations.


2. Treatment and Medical Procedures

  • Provide primary medical treatment for patients.

  • Perform minor medical procedures such as:

    • Suturing wounds

    • Dressing injuries

    • Administering injections

    • Managing emergency cases

  • Stabilize patients before referring to specialists if needed.


3. Emergency and Critical Care

  • Attend to emergency cases in casualty or emergency department.

  • Provide life-saving interventions (CPR, first aid, stabilization).

  • Coordinate with specialists for critical patients.


4. Patient Monitoring

  • Monitor patient progress and recovery.

  • Update treatment plans based on patient response.

  • Conduct daily ward rounds.


5. Medical Documentation

  • Maintain accurate patient records.

  • Write case sheets, discharge summaries, and medical reports.

  • Ensure documentation follows hospital and legal standards.
