Medical Officer

Patient Care

• Examine patients and take medical histories
• Diagnose illnesses and prescribe treatment
• Order and interpret lab tests, X-rays, and scans
• Provide emergency care when required

• Conduct daily ward rounds and monitor patient progress
• Assist in surgeries or perform minor procedures
• Ensure proper documentation of patient records
• Follow standard treatment protocols and guidelines

3. Emergency Services

• Handle emergency cases (trauma, accidents, critical illness)
• Stabilize patients and coordinate with specialists if needed

4. Coordination & Teamwork

• Work with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare staff
• Refer patients to senior doctors or specialists when necessary
• Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings

5. Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate medical records and reports
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and legal standards
• Help in implementing public health programs (especially in government hospitals)
