- Examine patients and take medical histories
- Diagnose illnesses and medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment
- Manage admitted patients and coordinate care
Emergency Management
- Handle emergency and trauma cases
- Provide first aid and life-saving interventions
- Stabilize critically ill patients before specialist referral
- Attend code blue/emergency calls
Clinical Procedures
- Perform minor medical procedures such as:
- Suturing
- IV cannulation
- Catheterization
- Wound dressing
- Basic airway management
Coordination with Specialists
- Refer patients to consultants/specialists when needed
- Discuss treatment plans with senior doctors
- Coordinate with nursing staff and allied health professionals
