Patient Care:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
- Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to the concerned physician.
Clinical Duties:
- Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids accurately.
- Assist doctors in clinical procedures and examinations.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing records and reports.
Monitoring and Documentation:
- Record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations.
- Update patient charts with timely and correct information.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
Patient Education and Support:
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and post-hospital care.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during treatment.
Infection Control and Safety:
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient care areas.
- Properly dispose of medical waste and sharps.
Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide necessary care.
- Perform CPR and other life-saving procedures when required.
Coordination and Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, doctors, and other healthcare staff.
- Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy for timely investigations and medications.
