  • Patient Care:

    • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following established nursing procedures.

    • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, conditions, and behaviors.

    • Provide assistance with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, eating) for patients who need help.

    • Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

  • Documentation and Record-Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and responses to interventions.

    • Document and report any changes in patient condition or symptoms to the healthcare team.

  • Patient Education:

    • Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care procedures.

    • Provide guidance on post-hospital care, such as wound care, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications.

  • Clinical Support:

    • Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required by healthcare providers.

    • Prepare and administer injections, IVs, and blood draws.

    • Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring it is sterilized and ready for use.

  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work alongside doctors, specialists, and other nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and care needs.

  • Emergency Response:

    • Provide first aid or emergency treatment to patients in critical or life-threatening situations.

    • Monitor patients post-surgery or during recovery to identify any complications or concerns.

  • Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Follow all healthcare safety protocols to minimize risks of infection or injury.

    • Adhere to all hospital or clinic policies regarding patient care, sanitation, and confidentiality.

  • Patient Advocacy:

    • Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that patients’ needs are communicated and met.

    • Advocate for patients' rights and provide emotional support during challenging health circumstances.
