Staff Nurse

1. Patient Care

  • Assess and monitor patients’ conditions (vital signs, symptoms, progress).

  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.

  • Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, feeding, mobility).

  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families.

2. Medication Administration

  • Administer prescribed medications and IV treatments.

  • Monitor for side effects or adverse reactions.

  • Maintain accurate medication records.

 3. Documentation

  • Maintain detailed patient records and nursing notes.

  • Update patient charts and care plans.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and legal standards.

 4. Collaboration

  • Work closely with physicians, surgeons, therapists, and other healthcare staff.

  • Participate in ward rounds and case discussions.

  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care.

 5. Emergency Response

  • Respond quickly to medical emergencies.

  • Perform CPR and first aid when required.

  • Assist in life-saving procedures.6. Infection Control & Safety

  • Follow hygiene and infection control protocols.

  • Ensure proper handling of medical equipment.
