Patient Care
- Assess patients’ health conditions (vital signs, symptoms, medical history)
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to doctors
- Assist with daily activities (bathing, feeding, mobility)
2. Clinical Duties
- Perform basic medical procedures (wound dressing, injections, IV setup)
- Prepare patients for examinations and surgeries
- Operate and maintain medical equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
3. Communication
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health conditions
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients
4. Safety and Hygiene
- Follow infection control protocols
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and environment
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards
5. Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain patient charts and reports
- Manage ward supplies and inventory
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating care
6. Emergency Care
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies
- Provide first aid and life support (CPR, basic emergency care)
- Assist in critical care situations
