Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and mental health conditions.
- Monitor vital signs and record patient information accurately.
- Administer medications, injections, and intravenous (IV) treatments as prescribed.
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide wound care and other nursing treatments.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease management, medications, and preventive healthcare.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life-support measures when required.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and nursing regulations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise and guide nursing assistants, attendants, or junior nursing staff when applicable.
