- Assess patients' health conditions and record medical histories.
- Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing interventions.
- Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation.
- Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the medical team.
- Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or basic life support when required.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Supervise and guide nursing assistants or junior nursing staff, where applicable.
