Patient Care & Diagnosis

  • Examine patients and take detailed medical histories

  • Order and interpret investigations (blood tests, X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds)

  • Diagnose surgical conditions involving abdomen, gastrointestinal tract, soft tissues, endocrine system, breast, trauma, etc.

2. Surgical Procedures

  • Perform elective and emergency surgeries such as:

    • Appendectomy

    • Hernia repair

    • Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal)

    • Thyroid surgery

    • Bowel resections

    • Trauma surgery

  • Conduct minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgeries

3. Pre-operative & Post-operative Care

  • Evaluate patient fitness for surgery

  • Obtain informed consent

  • Manage post-operative recovery

  • Monitor for complications

  • Provide wound care and follow-up treatment

4. Emergency & Trauma Management

  • Manage surgical emergencies (e.g., perforation, intestinal obstruction, internal bleeding)

  • Provide life-saving interventions in trauma cases

5. Team Collaboration

  • Work with anesthesiologists, nurses, physicians, radiologists, and critical care teams

  • Supervise junior doctors and residents
