Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate clinical competence in all aspects of patient care.
• Evaluate the quality and appropriateness of care and assess the impact of
nursing intervention as appropriate.
• Assessment and reassessment of pain and management of pain.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures for medication
management.
• Explain the plan of care to the patient and family.
• Document all patient records as per policies and standards.
• Educate patient and family as required and involvement of the patient family,
and significant others in the patient's care.• Administration of
intra-venous, intra-muscular,
intradermal,
and
subcutaneous injections.
• Management of blood and body fluids, HAZMAT spills.
• Knowledge of the blood drawing protocols and collection of reports.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing care plans and their documentation.
