Job Purpose:

To perform and guide transfusion therapy.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document transfusion medicine testing
  • Formulate differential diagnosis
  • Interpret results
  • Guide transfusion therapy
  • Participate in departmental meetings
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area
  • Guide junior colleagues & technicians working in the area
  • Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines
  •  Participate in quality assurance of the department and the  hospital

Candidate Requirements:
  • Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the Doctors and the other related departmental personnel.
  • Ability to plan & organize ones work schedule effectively.
  • Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel.
  • Affinity to work in team.
