Staff Nurse

  • Admission and discharge of the patients
  • Provide with intravenous therapies, food feedings and monitors the baby.
  • Make the baby feel comfortable.
  • Provide full detailed knowledge about the baby to mother.
  • Ensure every activity performed on ill infant is purely hygienic.
  • Works in shifts with other staff and wears all the gear that is needed.
  • Ensures the functioning of all devices is good.
  • Produce all the reports of ill infant to doctor which help him/her to monitor the baby condition.
  • Responsible for all documentation as per policy  and all forms which are necessary for the patient 
  • The nurses have to keep checking on the patients constantly during their duty as all the patients are in critical condition
  • Care of the dying and dead
  • Maintenance of therapeutic environment in the ward 
  • BLS and NALS/PALS trained staff.
