  • Attend OPD patients and prescribe relevant care plan after discussing with senior doctors.
  • Ensure accurate and complete record keeping.
  • Study admitted patients’ medical history then meet with them to discuss their complaints and symptoms.
  • Examination and diagnostic testing of patients.
  • Make diagnosis and recommend surgery or other treatment after discussing with senior doctors.
  • Prescribe drugs and supplements.
  • Perform routine OPD procedures, noninvasive procedures minor surgical procedures independently and perform / assist major surgical procedure under supervision.
  • Participate in academic activities like Case presentation, Seminars & journal clubs.
  • Attend patients in emergency and attend night calls, carry out appropriate with consultant on call.
  • Attend interdepartmental referrals and prescribes appropriate management plan after discussion.
  • Ensure preoperative fitness of surgical patients.
  • To assist under supervision, procedure in the following subspecialities
  • Shoulder and elbow surgery
  • Pediatric orthopedics
  • Spine surgery
  • Musculoskeletal oncology
  • Arthroplasty.
  • Sports Injuries

 

  • To perform under supervision, procedure in the following subspecialities 
  • Orthopedic Trauma
  • Hand Surgery
  • Foot Surgery
  • Ensure implementation of postoperative care plans and recommend lifestyle changes including diet, exercise and other matters.
  • Prepare discharge .
