Diagnosis and Staging:Taking detailed patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (including imaging and pathology), and staging the cancer.

Treatment Planning:Developing individualized treatment plans based on the stage and type of cancer, which may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or a combination of these.

Surgical Skills:Performing radical surgeries for gynecological cancers, including the ability to manage surgical and anesthetic risks and potential complications.

Medical Oncology:Managing patients with chemotherapy, including understanding drug pharmacology, treatment protocols, and managing side effects.

Radiation Oncology:Understanding the principles of radiation therapy, its indications, and potential side effects.

Multidisciplinary Care:Collaborating with other specialists (surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, etc.) in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Patient Education and Counseling:Providing patients and their families with information about the cancer, treatment options, prognosis, and supportive care.

Research and Academic Activities:Participating in research, presenting at conferences, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.

Ethical and Legal Considerations:Understanding the ethical and legal aspects of cancer care, including informed consent and end-of-life care.

Post-treatment Care:Providing follow-up care, monitoring for recurrence, and managing long-term effects of treatment.
