  • To fulfil the Vision, Mission, and Objectives of the hospital to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • To take all necessary steps to fulfil the objectives of the organisation.
  • Study the patient response analysis IPD and evaluate scope of improvement for service provision.
  • To assist the MS in conduction of regular ward rounds of patient management areas to ensure provision of quality Patient Care, Standard of Housekeeping, quality of Dietary Services and other aspects of administrative & operational activities.
  • To respond & take prompt actions to customer complaints for speedy and satisfactory resolutions.
  • To answered queries of hospital clientele in the absence of Medical Superintendent.
  • To assist the HOD for all administrative/operational jobs related to patient care. NABH standards, teaching, training, hospital promotion as detailed hereunder.

Patient Care

  • To achieve complete customer satisfaction by providing total quality management.
  • To ensure that NABH Standards for quality, environmental and occupational safety management for patient care are followed in letter and spirit.

Medical Administration

  • To assist Quality Manager duty to get hospital accredited with Accreditation Council.
  • To get website hospital updated periodically with new information related to the hospital facilities and service in associations with online Marketing cell.
  • To take regular rounds of the hospital to ensure qualitative service of requisite standard.
  • To ensure the safety of patients, staff, land, building, equipment, and materials.
  • Any other job for improvement of the hospital personnel.

Quality Assurance

  • To assist in educating and training the hospital personnel, incorporate and implement the NABH standards.
  • To assist/support in the responsibility of processing of NABH accreditation.
  • To review update, monitor & audit NABH standard and take corrective and preventive action as and when required. In addition to ensure & supervise that quality system are being implemented.

Reporting of the Department

  • The following departments/employees will report to you:
  1. Discharge Summary
  2. Patients Care coordinators.
  3. RMO’s
  4. MRD.

IPD

  • To carry out regular rounds of Discharge Summary call and coordinate between billing dispatch & discharge summary.
  • Response & prompt actions to customer complaints for speedy and satisfactory resolutions.
  • To become the first responder to all problems faced by patient in ground floor.
  • To answer all queries of hospital clientele in the absence of Medical Superintendent and give adequate reply in discussion with consultants and RMO.
  • To ensure preparation of Discharge Summaries in time by monitoring the work of Computer Operators and in consultation with consultants and RMO’s.
  • Check, correct and sign routing documents related to patient care, and which are mandatory in terms of billing, TPA, recovery and NABH.

Other

  • To train the stall and impart team spirit and leadership qualities in Team.
  • To make constant efforts for ensuring CQI being an integral part of quality assurance.
  • To undertake any other task as assigned by the management and ensure their successful completion.
  • To take all necessary steps to fulfil the objectives of the organization.
  • Ensure the proper vigilance of the incoming patients, attendants & other personnel.
  • Ensuring proper resources are available for the smooth workflow.
