Patient Care:

Imaging Procedures:

Position patients and equipment for the correct view, operate complex imaging machinery (X-ray, CT, MRI), and use computer systems to input data and control image sequences.
Image Quality:

Monitor the video display to adjust image density and contrast, and collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and determine if additional scans are needed.
Radiation Safety:

Adhere to strict safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation for both patients and themselves.
Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Record Keeping:

Maintain detailed patient records, log and organize image results, and update patient charts with accurate information.
Collaboration:

Work with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care and accurate diagnoses.
